Our Editorial Independence

WageLoop is an independent publisher. Our content and calculators are created by our editorial team without influence from advertisers, sponsors, or partners. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, featured placements, or favorable rankings in our calculators.

How We Create Content

Every calculator and article on our site is created by our in-house team based on:

We do not scrape or copy content from other websites. All our content is original and written specifically for WageLoop users.

Review Process

Before any calculator or article is published:

1. Fact-checking: All numbers, rates, and formulas are checked against official sources.

2. Testing: Every calculator is tested with multiple example inputs to ensure accurate results.

3. User testing: We test every tool with real users to make sure it's easy to use and works as expected.

How Often We Update

We review and update all our calculators at least once per year, typically in January when new tax brackets, contribution limits, and rates are announced. We also update calculators whenever state or federal laws change.

When we make a significant update to a calculator, we update the "Last updated" date on that page and add a note to our changelog.

Correcting Mistakes

We strive for 100% accuracy, but mistakes can happen. If you find an error in any of our calculators or articles, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and correct the error as soon as possible, typically within 24-48 hours.

When we correct a significant error, we will update the page and add a note explaining what was changed.
