Our Team

The WageLoop team is a small group of financial writers, tax analysts, and software engineers who are passionate about making personal finance simple and accessible for everyone. We build free, accurate calculators that help you make smarter decisions about your money — no paywalls, no sign-ups, no hidden fees.

Our Editorial Standards

Every calculator on WageLoop is built using official public data: federal tax brackets from the IRS, Social Security cost-of-living adjustments from the SSA, state tax rates from official state revenue departments, and industry average insurance premiums from NAIC. We do not accept paid placements or sponsored calculator results. If a number is wrong, we fix it within 48 hours.

Our Review Process

Each calculator goes through a three-step review process: first, a developer builds the calculation formula; second, a financial writer reviews the formulas and sample calculations for accuracy; third, we test the calculator against real-world scenarios (like a $75,000 salary in California, or a $400,000 mortgage in Texas) to make sure the results match what you would see on a paycheck statement or loan estimate.

We update our calculators every January when new tax brackets are released, and we review state-specific rates quarterly. If you notice an error or have a suggestion for a new calculator, please reach out via our contact page.

Why We Built WageLoop

We started WageLoop because we were frustrated by how many free financial calculators online were either outdated, filled with ads, or had confusing, cluttered interfaces. We wanted to build a set of tools that were fast, accurate, and completely free to use — no account required, no hidden paywalls, no nonsense. Whether you are calculating your paycheck after a raise, estimating how much house you can afford, or figuring out how much you need to save for retirement, we want WageLoop to be the first place you go.
